Whew!

Yes, yes I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while, but as I'm sure you know life gets a little hectic.

I was trying really hard to think of what to post about, but nothing was coming to mind. I have all these great ideas for future posts, i.e. my upcoming missions trip to Quebec, my graduation, The Great Church Change and so on and so forth (I love that phrase!!).

Finally after much thought (30 whole seconds;), I've decided to share some of my favorite Bible verses. Enjoy!

Trying (but not promising) to go in order....

1.Deut. 31:8 "The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."
This is one of the most encouraging verses I know of. The Lord HIMSELF... and He will NEVER leave you...

2.Job 1:5b "Early in the morning he would sacrifice a burnt offering for each of them..."
It's talking about how Job cared for his children, and pretty much at that point in time he was the best human father. Every morning, without fail.....

3.Job 19:26-27 "And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; I myself will see him with my own eyes—I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!"
Job said a lot of dumb things, but this is truly beautiful. How my heart yearns, that I will see God and I can't wait!!!!!

4.Psalm 18 (all) I'm not copying that here because it's a very long psalm, but definately one of the best. The wrath of God indeed!

5.Acts 28:26-27 'Go to this people and say,
"You will be ever hearing but never understanding;
you will be ever seeing but never perceiving."
For this people's heart has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them.

The. Saddest. Verse. In. The. Bible. All we have to do is turn and He will heal us.

I could've posted many many more, but maybe another time;)
